DOWN HERE IN GUANAJUATO MEXICO WILL BE DEDICATING EVERYTHING WE DO IN THE FUTURE IN MEMORY OF LUIS AND HIS FAMILY! WE WILL
KEEP LUIS AND HIS FAMILY IN YOUR PRAYERS. A STONE WILL BE PLACED WITH HIS NAME AT OUR PLANET GTOROCKS PARK AND A MASS HELD
IN THE CUBILETE IN MEMORY OF HIM.
Louie alias "GUITMOUSSE" (he came up with this word as a kid which signifies Guitar
Musician), has left us and is in heaven now. Our Ponce family invites you to pray for him on his new journey in heaven. He
was a great brother, man, artist, father, leader, who loved God while on his mission on this earth, while always respecting
everyone and everything he encountered.
Luis Alfredo Ponce, age 33, of Austin, passed away suddenly on Monday, November 12,
2007. Luis was a loving husband, father, son and friend. He was a gifted
artist and incredible guitarist, and shared the stage with many bands in Austin over the last ten years. However, more than
anything else, Luis loved being dad to his daughter, Lilly. Luis is survived by his wife, Patsy Ponce; daughter, Lilly
Ponce; parents, Mary and Manuel Ponce; brother, Manuel Ponce, Jr.; mother-in-law, Frances Lerma; father-in-law, Servando Lerma;
brother-in-law, David Lerma; special family friends, Laura and Patty Jacaman and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Sentimos mucho esta prueba que Dios nos ha mandado, pero con las oraciones de todos los que nos rodean, hemos sentido el milagro
de tu hermanito Luis que nos ha fortalezido con una fuerza inexplicable.
El dolor no lo podremos aguantar, pero sabemos que Luisito "Fred" ya se encuentra descansando en el cielo y
nos seguira bendiciendo a todos los que nos acordemos de el. A ti Manuelito, te queremos igual que a Luis y pediremos como
siempre lo hemos hecho que todo lo que pienses realizar te salga bien.

Buddha taught that all life is impermanent and that all those who are born must eventually pass from this life. However, everyone
has within them the seeds of their past virtues, which have the power to bring a fortunate rebirth in the future. We pray
that through the power of this virtue, through the blessings of the holy beings, and through the force of our heartfelt prayers,
our dear friend, Luis Alfredo Ponce Navarrete , will experience great good fortune and everlasting peace and happiness. We
also pray for the bereaved relatives and friends, that they may be comforted in their loss and find peace of mind and strength
of heart. May all beings without exception be released from suffering, and find true happiness and everlasting peace.

THE DRAGONFLY
Once, in a little pond, in the muddy water under the lily pads, there lived a little
water beetle in a community of water beetles. They lived a simple and comfortable life in the pond with few disturbances and
interruptions. Once in a while, sadness would come to the community when one of their fellow beetles would climb
the stem of a lily pad and would never be seen again. They knew when this happened; their friend was dead, gone
forever. Then, one day, one little water beetle felt an irresistible urge to climb up that stem. However,
he was determined that he would not leave forever. He would come back and tell his friends what he had found
at the top. When he reached the top and climbed out of the water onto the surface of the lily pad, he was so tired,
and the sun felt so warm, that he decided he must take a nap. As he slept, his body changed and when he woke up, he
had turned into a beautiful blue-tailed dragonfly with broad wings and a slender body designed for flying. So, fly he did!
And, as he soared he saw the beauty of a whole new world and a far superior way of life to what he had never known existed.
Then he remembered his beetle friends and how they were thinking by now he was dead. He wanted to go back to tell them,
and explain to them that he was now more alive than he had ever been before. His life had been fulfilled rather than
ended. But, his new body would not go down into the water. He could not get back to tell his friends the good
news. Then he understood that their time would come, when they, too, would know what he now knew. So, he raised his
wings and flew off into his joyous new life!
