Bill Peterson was born in 1953 in New England.
Being one of the most prolific writers on the subject of horse racing and gambling, he garnered almost 1,700 horse racing articles as his intellectual piece. Most of them are obtainable on the internet.
He also writes on many topics, though horse racing and the life of a horseplayer was always his favorites. He has over 50 years of experience on the game of horse racing. He first attended the races with his grandfather and assisted in training. One of Bill's first experiences is a time when he had a little fracture while standing at the fence and watching the horse's legs go by when he was just very young.
Quoting his words, ‘’I heard all the people shouting and the thundering hooves going by and knew that something wonderful and exciting must be going on. I made up my mind that when I grew up I would get involved in whatever was going on’’. Later on as he grew up, Bill got his training license and in the long run owned many horses.
